Crops: Grains and beans, Grains, Beans, Soybeans Drive company vehicle to obtain merchandise and transfer products & supplies Assist in all aspects of the elevator operations Operate a pay loader to assist in pile pick-up Receiving and unloading grain operations Loading grain trucks Keep outside grain facilities clean and safe by cleaning and sweeping grain areas All aspects of grain train loading including but not limited to opening and sealing train cars, using the computer to load cars, and running the track mobile or locomotive. Operate a skid loader to clean up around the facility Understand Lock out/tag out for confined space entry Enter confined space with another employee to clean out bins and boot pits per Landus’ protocol Assist in tarping piles of grain & pile pick-up Operate a track mobile or locomotive Measure grain inventory by counting or measuring products on a weekly/monthly basis Operate a grain dryer Maintaining grain condition by monitoring temperatures and blending Spray grain bins for pests Assist in all aspects of the fertilizer and chemical operations, if applicable to location Fill NH3 nurse tanks during season & weigh the tanks with another employee Perform maintenance on nurse tanks Unload rail cars & semi-trucks of fertilizer Mix & load chemical & fertilizer trucks Operate a forklift or payloader to load or move products Load chemicals for customers Keep agronomy facilities clean and safe by cleaning and sweeping agronomy areas Ability to take physical inventory by counting or measuring product Assist with general maintenance of the facility Ability to learn and run power tools Diagnose and perform maintenance on equipment Grease chains and bearings Identify issues or problems, such as when a bearing is bad or a broken wire on hazard monitoring equipment Identify potential problems and repair as necessary Operate a lawn mower & weed eater Spraying weeds Painting assigned areas Load and unload products and goods as assigned Be willing to perform these duties at any Landus locations as needed. Workers who possess a valid driver’s license and meet all applicable legal requirements, including holding a doctor’s certificate as required by 29 CFR § 500.105, may be asked to drive vehicles for transporting workers, goods, or commodities on company business. This task is voluntary, compensable, and not a mandatory job duty. Workers without a valid driver’s license or doctor’s certificate will still be fully eligible for employment and are not disqualified from any other job responsibilities outlined in this application. The employer can and will make alternative arrangements for the transportation of workers should the need arise.
