- Offer description:
The workers will assist with all aspects of seasonal farm operations including seeding, tending, and harvesting of crops. Duties include operating and maintaining a variety of agricultural equipment used in planting and harvesting, such as tractors, combines, and sprayers. Workers will prepare fields, apply fertilizers and pesticides as directed, monitor crop conditions, and perform mechanical adjustments or minor repairs to equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Workers will load and unload agricultural products, clean storage and work areas, and follow directions to complete time-sensitive fieldwork. The tasks must be completed within specific seasonal windows dictated by crop readiness and weather conditions. Workers must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks outdoors in varied weather conditions. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently within a team are essential. The workers will also be expected to support general farm upkeep during the season as needed. Due to the urgency and volume of work during peak planting and harvesting times, consistent and reliable performance is required to maintain crop quality and meet production deadlines. Housing and transportation to worksites will be provided, and workers may be transported weekly to the nearest town for personal needs. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
