1. Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles 2. Maintain repair or maintenance records. 3. Disassemble and Reassemble machines and equipment. 4. Test and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, and hand tools. 5. Post, preseason, and in-season inspections, maintenance, and winterization of farm equipment. 6. Examine and listen to equipment. 7. Ability to use and follow safety requirements/protocols with shop equipment. 8. Drive trucks to haul tools and equipment for on-site repair of large machinery and to field for repairs, as necessary. 9. Drive to town to pick up mechanical parts, as necessary. Employer will guarantee the required wage for work performed in Washington at the time that the work is performed. ($25.97/hr for H-2A workers, and $28.46/hr for all other workers). Orientation and all meetings will be paid at the applicable hour. General Specifications: Daily individual and/or crew work assignments will be made by, and at the sole discretion of, the employer as the needs of the business operation dictate. Workers must perform the assigned work and may not switch work assignments without specific authorization of a company supervisor.
