I have brood cows and stocker cattle. I would like someone to help feed, vaccinate, and doctor the cattle. I also have some sheep and need assistance worming them and trimming their feet. I need someone to help pick up limbs and trash as needed. Help maintaining and building fence is a must. If they can weld that would be wonderful as well. I will need help planting, spraying, and fertilizing. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; construct facilities, construct structures to support plant growth; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; identify plants, crops, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, GPS guidance systems, forklift, track hoe, manure spreading equipment, pickups, cars, etc, self-propelled machinery, silage choppers, sprayers, spreaders, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, corn, sheep, silage. Must speak and understand English.
