  Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery for cultivating, planting, spraying, watering, harvesting, moving, storing crops; Operate or tend large, high horsepower farm equipment (much of which is equipped with GPS) used in agricultural production such as tractor, shredder, sprayer, mower, tractor pulled harvester to produce crops such as soybeans, cotton, pecans; Adjust farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions; Drive truck to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farmworkers; Mix materials and dump solutions into planter or sprayer; Hip up rows; Spear cotton bales and shred stalks; Irrigate soil including laying out poly pipe for watering crops; Mow and spray turnrows and in orchard; Grade pecans; Assess crop maturity and field conditions. Must speak and understand English.
