  Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases; Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery for cultivating, planting, spraying, watering, harvesting, moving, storing crops; Operate or tend large, high horsepower farm equipment (much of which is equipped with John Deere GPS) used in agricultural production such as tractor, combine, sprayer, excavator, dozer, tillage tool to produce crops; Adjust farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions; Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, planters, harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; Operate towed machines such as seed drills or spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops; speak and understand English.
