Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties common to a Custom Harvester found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator for the growers listed such as and not limited to: Operate self-propelled equipment and tractors that reaps, harvests, threshes, swathes, or winnows crops; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery including threshing and GPS settings; Perform safety checks on equipment; Operate equipment such as augers, grain carts, fuel/service trailers; Worker performed for Sunrise Farms also incudes: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with grain bins, augers, and storage barns; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate center pivot irrigation equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as swather, chopper, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as hay, wheat, cotton, milo, silage; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer’s fields, load employer’s crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools.
