  Care for horses to protect their health and improve their appearance. Assist with foaling, weaning, and yearling preparation activities, including walking yearlings up to 3 miles a day. Muck and clean out stalls. Feed and water animals. Measure, mix, and apportion horse feed and feed supplements according to feeding instructions. Dispense medications to horses. Assist with maintenance of tools and equipment. Perform basic planting and maintenance of grounds, including digging, raking, watering, spraying insecticide and herbicide, pruning, lifting debris, and using basic farm equipment including mowers and tractors. Perform other work directly related to these activities.
