We are a large mostly dry land farm in Eastern Colorado where we raise Corn, Wheat, Sorghum, and Millet. We are located approximately 35 miles Northeast of Denver, Colorado. We run primarily Case IH Equipment, which is State of the Art with GPS Auto Steer and operation recording. No field equipment is open station. We need seasonal employees to assist with all aspects of growing these crops. Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, irrigation equipment, operate other farm equipment, engage in planting, weeding, spraying and/or harvesting activities, fertilize, dust, and spray crops, guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, and to discard diseased or rotten products, install, maintain and repair pivot irrigation systems, load and unload crops or materials, manually or using conveyors, forklifts, or transfer augers, load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks, manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery, mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into machinery, observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions, weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information, load crops and unload crops, operate equipment to harvest crops, record agricultural data, drive farm trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools, inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. The desire and ability to work well with others, and discuss the operations is very important. Everyone must respect those they work with. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
