We operate a mid-sized corn, soybeans, and alfalfa farm. In the spring, employees will assist with getting machines ready to go to the field and with field work such as tillage and land rolling; delivering seed to planters and mixing/hauling herbicide to sprayers; and cleaning out grain bins. In the summer, employees will assist with raking,and loading hay and throwing pallets down to set bales on, and tending the sprayer as well as cleaning out grain bins and assisting with getting machinery prepped for fall harvest. In the fall, employees will operate grain carts as well as assisting with cover crop seeding and tillage. Throughout the year Employees will assist with cleaning up machinery which includes power washing. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.
