We need a seasonal employee to help till, plant, spray, irrigate, monitor, and maintain our irrigated cropland for the upcoming farming season. Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting, operate tractors, planters, sprayers, irrigation equipment, operate other farm equipment, engage in planting, weeding, spraying and/or harvesting activities, install, maintain and repair pivot irrigation systems, complete maintenance and repairs on irrigation equipment, drive pickup trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools, inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. Maintain, clean and prepare equipment. Be capable of basic equipment repairs. Follow instructions. Operate all vehicles and equipment safely. Agriculture experience is a necessity. Understanding basic agronomy and irrigation. Be able to work unsupervised. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
