- Offer description:
Our company began as a small operation in the 1990s and has grown significantly since 2015, now managing over 4,000 acres of farmland. We run a seasonal operation that starts in early spring with land preparation and continues through harvest in late fall. Our farm produces corn, soybeans, wheat, potatoes, and alfalfa. Job duties include cleaning work areas, maintaining grounds and landscaping, loading agricultural products into trucks, and transporting them to market or storage facilities. Employees will maintain and repair irrigation and climate control systems, operate tractors, tractor-drawn, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow, fertilize, plant, cultivate, spray, and harvest crops, and perform maintenance and repairs on farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Additional responsibilities include repairing farm buildings, fences, and other structures; setting up and operating irrigation equipment; cleaning equipment and facilities; maintaining operational records; and performing manual agricultural and maintenance tasks. We take great pride in our land, with irrigation pivots and tile systems on nearly every acre, ensuring consistent productivity. A key part of this job involves maintaining and servicing irrigation pivots, tile systems, fence rows, and brush along field perimeters to keep our operation running smoothly. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
