LeFils Farms has been in operation since 2002. Each year we grow and harvest peanuts, hay, and various grain crops. Perform duties such as tilling the soil, applying fertilizer and pesticides, manage and record the processing and handling of harvested products. Have experience in operating tractors, sprayers, planters, hay mowers, hay balers, loaders, farm-trucks etc. Must be familiar with GPS systems on farm equipment. Operate standard farm equipment including tractor, sprayer, planter, hay harvesting equipment, truck, and forklift. Arrive to work on time each day. Must have the ability to keep accurate records of daily jobs, participate and lead work meetings and train new employees. Perform and record maintenance on equipment (greasing, checking fluids, servicing). Calculate spray and fertilizer rates, formulas and precisely record the application. Possess the ability to accurately record keep daily tasked performed. Maintain a safe and secure work environment. Availability to work and manage seven days a week when necessary. Monitor activities such as irrigation, chemical applications and harvesting to ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry/company standards. Assist with field and shop work as needed. Performs maintenance and repairs on all farm equipment as needed such as troubleshooting malfunctions and completing minor/major repairs. Attend and participate in company meetings. No commercial truck driving is required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
