We operate a corn, wheat, barley, sunflower and canoa farm and need seasonal employees to assist with all farm duties associated with growing these corps. Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, operate other farm equipment, engage in planting, weeding, spraying and/or harvesting activities, spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers, load crops and unload crops, operate equipment to harvest crops drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed to animals, examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain, herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures, care for animals, operate farming equipment, transport animals, crops, or equipment, treat animal injuries or illnesses. Keeping yard and shop area clean. Worker is to help take care of cattle when out to pasture and during calving. We only need the additional help during calving due to the increase in workload associated with feeding and caring for cattle during confinement. While in pastures, no care is needed. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
