We operate roughly 4,000 acres of cultivation with the majority currently planted in winter wheat, as well as around 6,000 acres of native/improved grass and pasture lands. We grow and harvest multiple crops including cotton, wheat, haygrazer, oats and milo. We often cut and bale our crops. The precipitation and economic seasonality of this crop will change our farming duties and responsibilities accordingly. Employees will assist with plowing to prepare for cotton planting, field prep for irrigation, hauling loaded trailers with farm pickups, fence building and/or repair, and tractor driving to plant, plow, swath, and bale. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
