The employee will be dedicated to raising Game Birds, from hatching eggs to adult birds. Employee will be overseeing the health of the birds, feeding, and watering. We estimate to raise 25,000 game birds in a season. Other duties include keeping areas around the pens mowed to ensure no predators can get in and pens do not have holes. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; inform farm managers of plants or crops progress; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; maintain grounds and landscaping; maintain inventory; regulate conditions; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; trap and destroy pests; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, dirt moving equipment, grain carts, manure spreading equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, skid steers, sprayers, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: exotic wildlife, sheep, whitetail deer, corn, hay, soybeans, wheat, Game Birds (quail, Pheasant, Chukars). Must speak and understand English. Approximate staggered entry: 1 worker to begin Feb 19 and 1 worker to begin April 19.
