  Duties may include: Plant, prune, tie, thin fruit and shutes from vines, repair trellis systems, spray vines using prescribed chemicals, assist with the harvesting of the fruit. All tools (pruners and loopers) will be provided free of charge by the employer. One month experience is required. 9 hours a day is normal. At times worker may be requested, but not required to work 12 hours per day and or on the Sabbath or Federal Holidays depending upon the conditions of the fields or orchards, weather and maturity of the crop being harvested & other related Vineyard Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.
