• Offer description:

  Cutting, tethering, raking and baling of hay, storing hay in barn and loading hay. Prepare fields for planting row crops, corn and sugar cane. Fertilize, weed, spray, water, harvest and load crops on trucks, transport to barn. Potting, seeding, staking and watering plants in the greenhouse. Transplant / pot plants, dig, cut and transplant seedlings. Move containerized plants using wheelbarrows. Maintain, weed and spray in and around the greenhouse. Check and repair plant stalls, cover greenhouse, check for tears in coverings; seal any tears. Strap and tie down coverings securely. Uncover greenhouse in the Spring. Bushhogging fields. Perform a variety of other duties such as lubricating and repairing farm machinery. maintain fences, barn and outbuildings. Work in extreme weather heat or cold for longs hours. Work hours and days may vary weather permitting; too much rain may cause work stoppage or delays as the ground becomes too wet.
