  Duties may include: Operate various farm equipment (combines, tractors, farm trucks, etc.) for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing and harvesting of crops. Field ready implements and equipment. Maintain/repair machinery, equipment, and implements. Operate and repair irrigation systems. Transport farm commodities to market. Maintain farm grounds/mow. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. This job involves manual labor, lifting, carrying, long days in the heat. Rain days are typically spent in the shop repairing equipment and preparing for the next days’ work & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).
