Operating large farm equipment in connection with the production of grain and oilseed crops; operating large farm equipment for the cultivating, planting, fertilizing, spraying, irrigating, harvesting, and transporting of grains and oilseed crops, such as, but not limited to, corn, cotton, rice, soybeans, wheat, and other crops; perform manual labor in connection with growing of said grains and oilseed crops; lift, load, and unload heavy bags of seed, feed, fertilizer, and chemical containers; properly mix and load chemicals into spray equipment; install and remove levy gates and tarp on irrigation risers in rice and other flooded crops; check irrigated fields daily for proper drainage and flooding; maintain irrigation pumps and motors during growing season and winterize at end of growing season; use shovels throughout the growing season for proper drainage of fields; receive grains and oilseed crops for drying at grain bins and other grain storage facilities; clean out grain bins and other grain storage facilities; clean, organize, and maintain shop and other work sites; dispose of spoiled grain from pit and elevator area around grain storage facilities; chop and weed-eat weeds in fields and shop yard; cut fire wood for use in winter to prevent equipment from freezing; clear and maintain irrigation ditches; bushhog and clip turnrows and other areas; daily maintenance on equipment, machinery, buildings, and fences; operate pickup truck to obtain repairs and supplies. May have to work during the night, and possibly on weekends. Employer may request, but cannot require, workers to work on their Sabbath.
