We are a livestock operation and a fencing contractor building agricultural fence. It is a physically demanding job often requiring workers lift heavy fence posts and be on their feet most of the day. Our work also sometimes involves weed eating for 8 hours at a time although not on a daily basis. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; be able to handle; working in high humidity; clean work areas; load and unload materials and commodities; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment. Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock from one location to another; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Provide mineral to cattle; Must speak English.
