All work is performed in the field on the farm. Driver Drive over the road in vans and other company-owned vehicles. Driver will drive designated vehicles to transport crew workers to and from housing and worksite locations, when necessary. Driver will be responsible for filling truck with fuel and keeping vehicle clean. Driver will be required to complete and process periodic driving reports as required by state laws. Driver will be required to follow all traffic laws. Drivers are responsible for ensuring that seat belts are worn by all other employees riding in the truck. Also responsible to driving to stores and banks, when necessary. Drivers are compensated for these activities. All employees engaged in driving activities (H-2A as well as corresponding domestic workers), will be given the opportunity to obtain a driver’s license on a voluntary basis. The DL is not a pre-hire job requirement. No job applicant will be denied an employment opportunity due to a lack of a DL at the time of application and/or hiring. The employer will cover the cost of obtaining a driver’s license, if necessary. Crew Leader Direct and monitor the work of other farm workers. Crew Leaders are in charge of making sure the workers are accurately and safely performing their assigned job duties and that the crew is following all the company rules and policies. Guide crews. Provide direction on where crews should harvest. This is not a supervisory position and Crew Leaders work under the direction of Field Foremen. Stacker Stacks boxes/crates on pallets on trailer/pallets. Keep pallets moving and ready for pick up by forklift driver. Transfers boxes/crates from HP band to inspection table. Prepares empty harvest boxes for harvester by placing empty baskets. Reports all safety problems, incidents, and injuries to foreman immediately.
