We are a row crop farm in TN. We grow cotton, corn, soybeans, and wheat. We operate equipment such as S780, CP690, JD 8420, JD 8345R, JD 4555, JD 8R 310, JD 4038R. The largest needs will be operating equipment for field work, spraying, and harvesting. In conjunction with SOC CODE 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator, job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: operate self-propelled machinery to till soil, harvest, apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc, load inputs and commodities and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and storage facilities, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, load and unload materials and commodities, maintain grounds and landscaping, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, attach and detach implements and other equipment, work in extreme temperatures; set up, repair, and maintain specialized equipment; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment to prepare equipment. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, cotton stripper/picker, bushhog, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, pickups, cars, etc, planters, sprayers, spreaders, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: canola, corn, cotton, soybeans, wheat.
