As an Seasonal Operations Specialist you work the day to day operations for multiple departments for your facility. This is a hands-on position requiring you to work outside in all kinds of weather. You will help with loading and unloading of grain, agronomy, and some feed products. The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to; assisting with the train loads going out, and agronomy train loads coming in, monitoring and maintaining grain quality, mixing and loading of liquid/dry fertilizer and chemical products, assisting with the operation of the scale to weigh products, and performing routine maintenance and repairs of equipment and vehicles. Day to day tasks are operating company equipment, housekeeping and maintenance duties to keep our bins up and running, grain handling, loading and unloading grain on both trucks and trains; as well as loading and handling fertilizer, chemicals, and herbicide, and filling anhydrous tanks. Employees will be required to operate forklifts, scale operations, and augers as well as sweep and clean out grain bins. You will be expected to work hard, and you will have to work more hours during busy seasons. Farming or agriculture background/knowledge.
