Job requires the operation of farm equipment including, but not limited to, GPS auto steer equipment, tractors with various implements, sprayers, combines, and backhoes to till soil and plant, irrigate, fertilize, cultivate, harvest and transport crops to grain bins or storage facility. Non-CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Job will also requires workers performing mechanical repair and maintenance on field and irrigation equipment; working with irrigation equipment such as irrigation pipe and well motors; walking rows while puncturing irrigation pipe; using hand tools in fields to repair equipment and remove undesirable plants and objects from fields; cleaning and maintaining farm equipment, shop areas, and worksite locations; maintaining irrigation ditches; operating mowers and weed control equipment to maintain farm shop locations. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
