General farm labor: Operate large farm tractors equipped w/GPS for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting & harvesting grain & oilseed crops; transport grain & oilseed crops from field to storage facilities; operate haying equipment for hay production of swathing, raking, baling, stacking and transporting from field to storage; assist with vaccinating, ear tagging, and supplements; assist with maintenance & install of poly pipe irrigation; driving pickup to obtain parts & supplies; daily repairs & maintenance to equipment, machinery, building, irrigation & fences. May also clean location and equipment. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping
Must be able to obtain Texas DL and have knowledge of operating large farm tractors with GPS.Involves lifting and carrying of 50 lbs frequently The hours listed represent the normal work schedule. Due to the nature of the duties and weather it is the prevailing practice to work substantially more, less or different hours than those listed, sometimes for extended periods of time. When the number of hours for a week exceeds the number listed then, the worker may be offered, but not required, to work more hours. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on the weekend, a worker’s Sabbath or federal holidays. Worker must report to work at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time.
