Duties may include: Workers will prune, thin, harvest, and pack fruit and vegetables and assist in caring for the orchards. Worker will assist in transplanting, irrigation, and general maintenance. Must be able to climb up and down a ladder with a 30-lb. pack. Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Workers will also assist with maintaining range land and assist in cattle feeding duties to ensure proper weight gain during orchard downtime & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.
