Workers may spray crops for weeds and grass. Workers may apply water and fertilizers. Workers may restock trucks and equipment with seed bags. Workers may use equipment to prepare fields for planting. Workers may load and unload harvested crops for shipping and storage. Hay & Straw: Workers may cut and bale hay and straw with equipment. Workers may load and unload bales onto trucks or wagons. Workers may load bales in barns for storage. Workers may load trucks for shipping. Workers may prepare fields for the next crop. Other Related Duties: Workers may chop weeds from between plants with a hoe. Workers may drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest row crop. perform variety of other duties such as husking and shelling corn, unloading grain onto conveyors to storage bins and elevators.
