Duties may include: Duties may include: Plant, harvest, cut, sort, grade and box produce, gourds and Christmas trees. Workers will cultivate, weed and prune plants, trees and shrubs either manually, chemically or by machine, with hand tools or power tools to include tractors, skid steers and implements. Perform landscape maintenance using mowers, blowers and weed-eaters etc., maintain and repair fences, paint and repair buildings, equipment maintenance and small repairs, clean buildings, barns and animal pens. During husbandry and market season, workers will assist with feeding and watering sheep, goats, deer and chickens, vaccinating, applying medications and general care. Workers may assist in cleaning, loading and unloading crates of produce and orders in retail areas & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. Shift times may vary based on weather, crop production, and pests or crop disease & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org).
