• Offer description:

  Worker will use 800 HP tractors,implements and other equipment (cut rake, balers, etc) with GPS to plant, cultivate, harvest and bail hay. Worker will maintain and repair fences, equipment, farm buildings and roads to include landscape maintenance, painting, cleaning and small repairs. Worker will grind feed and distribute to cattle during breeding and non grazing times, fill water troughs, assist with vaccinations and medications. Workers must have 3 months of verifiable experience operating 800+ HP tractors with GPS and be able to lift 70 lbs regularly and complete the physical requirements of the job. Some workers with drivers licenses may operate trucks to transport crops (non CDL). There is no tobacco allowed at the work site or housing. This is a seasonal position that is only available during the hay production season, there is no work available during the dormant months of December and January.
