AEWR; US Workers: OK: $11.27; H2A Workers: OK: $10.05. Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery for cultivating, planting, spraying, watering, harvesting, storing crops; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) used in agricultural production such as tractor, combine, sprayer, grain cart, mower to produce crops such as corn, soybeans, wheat; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment as well as farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, planters, harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools; Operate towed machines such as seed drills or spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Weigh containers and record weights and identifying information; Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, discard rotten items; Position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers. Must be able to speak and understand English.
