  Perform any combination of the following field work duties: plant, prune and maintain orchard trees, nut-bearing trees, vines and shrubs; harvest fruits, vegetables, and herbs (including apples, pears, peaches, grapes, berries, lavender, rosemary, pomegranates and pecans); cut back invasive plants and hand-remove weeds without chemicals; collect and package harvested produce for storage, canning, or market; till thatch, and rotate soil for planting preparation; gather eggs and clean chicken coops to maintain a healthy environment; maintain farm roads during rainy seasons using backhoes; prepare, maintain, and clean greenhouse planter boxes; apply organic mulch, compost, and neutralizer fertilizer to crops; repair farm infrastructure, including fences, trellises and planting beds. Perform any combination of the following irrigation related duties: inspect and maintain irrigation systems, including pumps, pipes and sprinklers; unclog irrigation lines, clear algae buildup, and repair water leaks; clean and maintain water reservoirs, ponds and drainage systems; dig trenches to divert excess water and prevent flooding in crop areas; adjust irrigation schedules for seasonal crop needs and ensure consistent water flow; perform routine maintenance on pump houses and generator systems.
