Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest Nursery stock, Ornamental plants, Perennials, Plants, Shrubs, Trees, Turf, Bedding plants (annuals and perennials), Annuals, Flowers, Fruits, Garlic, Grass, Kale, Oregano, Root crops, Strawberries, Sunflowers, and Vegetables Dig holes manually or with augers, apply fertilizers and soil amendments, plant, mulch with pine needles, water, weed, rake, trim, prune, and perform general greenhouse maintenance. Duties also include remove debris, blow leaves, clean floors, gather and dispose of trash, and perform general facility cleaning. Workers process incoming shipments by unbox, unload trucks, break down boxes, and restock supplies, hard goods, plants, and plant materials. They also pick items for orders, audit inventory, prepare plants for shipment by clean, prune, and weed, box goods for shipment, and move or stack boxes and materials. Additional responsibilities include transport plants, supplies, and hard goods between facilities, drive side-by-side vehicles, prep pots by clean and apply barcode labels, set up potting machines and conveyor belts, and pot plants. Other tasks may involve fill bird feeders, maintain grounds, and assist with various operational needs as required. Able to speak and understand English preferred. Workers who possess a valid driver’s license and meet all applicable legal requirements, including holding a doctor’s certificate as required by 29 CFR § 500.105, may be asked to drive vehicles for transporting workers, goods, or commodities on company business. This task is voluntary, compensable, and not a mandatory job duty. Workers without a valid driver’s license or doctor’s certificate will still be fully eligible for employment and are not disqualified from any other job responsibilities outlined in this application.
