  We need a seasonal employee to assist with applying manure to our fields. Job duties include: attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools. Operate tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery as needed. Load and unload crops or materials manually or with the use of conveyors, forklifts, transfer augers, or hand trucks. Observe and listen to machinery during operation to detect and troubleshoot malfunctions. Drive farm semi-trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools between locations. Inspect, adjust, and perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Record agricultural data as required for operational tracking and compliance. The position will primarily involve handling animal manure and overseeing its proper application to fields. The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Manure Applicator’s License in accordance with state and regulatory requirements. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.
