AEWR; US Workers: MO: $14.56; H2A Workers: MO: $13.28. I have 250,000 bushels of grain to dry and condition that I need help maintaining and operating the grain dryers and fans to achieve proper grain grades. Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 53-4076 Packer/ Packagers such as Grade and sort according to factors such as color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct processing and usage; Operate and monitor grain conditioning tools to ensure efficient and safe conditioning of grain to meet quality standards; Load and unload hoppers and containers with products using handtrucks, forklifts, suction gates, shovels, pitchforks, brooms; Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information; Place products in containers according to grade; Weigh products or estimate their weight, visually or by feel; Discard inferior or defective products or foreign matter, and place acceptable products in containers for further processing; Guide products to regulate flow and to discard diseased or rotten products; Monitor and report grain moisture and grades; Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and surrounding facilities; This includes removing snow and Ice from facilities and buildings. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team; Load trucks with hopper bottom trailers; drive and deliver grain to ports and terminals using. Operate fans and other equipment to condition grain and control moisture levels. Tear down and re-build wheel motors, pumps and other equipment. Must be able to speak and understand English.
