The employer will pay all workers, including U.S. and H-2A workers, at least the highest applicable wage rate required by law. For calendar year 2026 in MS. The Adverse Effect Wage Rate is $9.74 per hour for Skill Level I positions. This rate applies equally to all U.S. workers in corresponding employment. H-2A workers who are provided no-cost housing may receive the adjusted wage rate of $8.59 per hour, which includes the $1.15 per-hour housing credit established by the U.S. DOL. Job requires the operation of various tractors and farm equipment for the purpose of feeding and tending to cattle and working and maintaining land. Equipment that workers may be required to operate includes, but is not limited to, tractors with various implements, feed trucks, feed wagons, ATVs, UTVs, and farm trucks with cattle trailers. Job also requires tending to livestock in the forms of feeding, examining, tagging, and herding; feeding livestock daily; checking livestock daily; assisting with vet visits; assisting with medication administration; planting grass; tilling pasture; cleaning pens; performing general maintenance, repairs and/or clean-up of storage sheds, buildings, fences, gates, barns and all farm equipment; ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and equipment to repair, clean and maintain farm vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery and agricultural equipment; and regularly servicing equipment. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
