All applicants must be able, willing, and qualified to perform the work described in this job description and must be available for the entire period of employment specified in Section A Box 3 & 4. Workers will perform a combination of tasks involved in the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of diversified ground crops according to the instructions of the supervisor. Workers will drive tractors, and other large farm equipment, including loaders, skid steers, combines, and control equipment to support agricultural activities such as tilling soil; planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops; May perform tasks such as crop baling or hay bucking. Worker will also perform other duties related to planting, maintaining, and harvesting of crops. Workers will load and unload trucks. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently. Workers may operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (whether on or off farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach farmer's fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as-needed basis. Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess a valid driver's license. No workers will be rejected for not having a driver's license. Work requires standing, kneeling and bending for long periods of time. Worker must be willing to work in varied weather conditions. Workers may be required to work 8.5 hours shift within the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm from Monday through Friday. Overtime may be necessary during summer and fall harvest depending on need. Beginning and ending times will vary depending on the crop conditions. Workers will be given a 30-minute lunch break and a 15-minute break in the morning and afternoon. Worker must take directions in simple English. "Employer will abide by all of Colorado's agricultural laws to include Senate Bill 21-087 ("SB87") and all subsequent Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards Order (COMPS order)." “Effective 1/1/25, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak-weeks" for highly seasonal employers
