- Offer description:
Temporary/ Seasonal Need Workers will assist with general farm labor related to crop production and storm recovery efforts on the farm and in the surrounding trade area in North Dakota. Duties include operating and maintaining farm equipment, assisting with the cleanup and repair of buildings and equipment damaged during a June 2025 storm, and transporting grain and other commodities between fields, temporary storage areas, and neighboring farms. No commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required for this work.Employees will operate tractors, augers, and other machinery to move, load, and unload grain and materials; help repair and maintain farm structures, fences, and equipment; and participate in general farm maintenance such as cleaning work areas and servicing equipment. They will also assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops; setting up and maintaining irrigation systems; and monitoring grain quality during temporary storage and transfer. Workers may record crop and field data, identify pests or weeds, and assist with pesticide or fertilizer application under supervision.Because the June 2025 storm destroyed a significant amount of storage and equipment, additional workers are needed through the winter months to handle the transfer of commodities from temporary to permanent storage facilities and to complete repairs and debris removal. The position requires physical labor, including standing, bending, lifting up to 60 pounds, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Overtime and weekend hours may be required during periods of high activity. Farming with: Alfalfa, Corn, Soy Beans, Spring Wheat, Sunflower
