AEWR; US Workers: KS: $12.69; H2A Workers: KS: $11.43. We are a 8,000 acre farm that raises wheat, camelina, corn, milo. We also have 200 cow and have a bull sale. We need a worker to aid in the planting and harvesting of these crops. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc, attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, construct facilities, haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, maintain grounds and landscaping, maintain inventory, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, weigh containers and record weights and identifying information, work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, irrigation equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, semi trucks, skid steers, sprayers, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, horses, corn, grain sorghum, wheat, oats, camelina; speak and understand English.
