  Prepare Grounds for planting. Plant and Maintain crops including fertilizing, spraying, and weeding. Crops include strawberries and vegetables (squash, peppers, and cucumbers). Check crops for pest infestations including disease and animals (insects, mollusks, and others). Check fields for ripe fruit for appropriate timing of harvest. Harvest ripe fruit, leaving unripe fruit on plants. Identify and cull damaged berries. During harvest, carefully pick berries without bruising and place them in clam shells in a flat and carefully close the lids without damaging fruit. Carry flats to designated check and receive location(s).
