• Offer description:

  Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Rice includes: field prep, water maintenance, planting and harvesting of rice & driving tractor. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; operate crawfish boats; all tools, supplies & equipment are provided; frequent stooping and lifting traps from pond, lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. The worker (s) may be requested but not required to work more than 8 hours per day and/or the Sabbath depending upon the conditions at the worksite, weather, and maturity of the crop. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Tools, supplies & equipment provided at no cost. Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone.Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
