Tree Seedlings; Container Plants; Field Grown Liners; Tree Seeds; Trees/Shrubs Duties include: Nursery work: dig, cultivate, weed, prune, apply chemical applications, stake, transplant, pot & process live plants/trees for nursery resale; grade and store nursery stock; participate in irrigation activities. Preparing plants for shipment and loading trucks. Seed collection and cleaning & other related Nursery Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Crew Leader: Assign work tasks, issue equipment and coordinate overall work for assigned nursery production crews. Monitor crop progress and report status to farmer or farm supervisor. Provide training to crew workers on crop/farming techniques. Workers who possess a valid driver’s license and meet all applicable legal requirements may be asked to drive vehicles for transporting workers, goods, or commodities on company business. This task is voluntary, compensable, and not a mandatory job duty. Workers without a valid driver’s license or doctor’s certificate will still be fully eligible for employment and are not disqualified from any other job responsibilities outlined in this application. The employer can and will make alternative arrangements for the transportation of workers should the need arise. Pursuant to the Department of Labor's policy change announced on 08/25/2025, the employer intends to bring in an initial group of workers on its anticipated beginning date of need identified above and a subsequent group of workers on or about 30 days thereafter. Employer reserves the right to alter these additional start dates, which are good faith estimates, as necessary to adjust to the variable and unpredictable factors associated with the agricultural labor to be performed under this job opportunity.
