  Daily care of livestock (including sheep and cattle) during winter / nongrazing months. Check water and food supply for animals daily. Distribute feed bales to livestock, as needed, manually or using farm equipment. Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment and machinery. Inspect and maintain livestock health to include vaccinations. Clean and maintain livestock housing areas. The work day may begin / end earlier or later on any given day and evening. Typical workweek is Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Potential nights and weekends required depending on the animals and weather.
