  We are a cow calf operation and in the warmer months the cattle are out grazing so require less care. During the winter months we need seasonal assistance calving the cows from December until February. During this period cattle are confined for calving and need daily feeding and care. We have a livestock auction in February, and this requires lots of additional labor to get the livestock ready for sale. During our off season we do not need any assistance because the crops are growing, and no care of livestock is needed. Job duties will include: operate tractors, manure spreaders, operate other farm equipment, observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions, inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
