  During the winter months, employees will: • Clean and sanitize grain bins, augers, and storage facilities to protect stored popcorn, beans, soybeans, and peanuts. • Remove grain and residue, check for pests or mold, and ensure sanitary storage conditions for all crops. • Assist with packing, organizing, and stacking of popcorn and peanuts for storage or shipment during the post-harvest period. • Organize and maintain the farm shop, sheds, and storage areas to prepare for spring planting. • Perform general winter maintenance such as snow removal (farm property only), weed control around bins and sheds, and pressure-washing of equipment used in crop production and packing.
