  We operate a beef yearling operation. We purchase calves in September, and October. We turn them out on to winter forage pasture and graze them until mid-May when we sell and ship to feed yards. We do not have any cattle from mid-July until mid-September. Employees duties include: Unloading, vaccinating, branding, and ear tagging upon arrival. Employees will visually check calves each day for sickness, separating, and treating. Employees will distribute calves to winter forage, break ice, move hay for feeding, and set out mineral, salt and protein blocks. Employees will gather cattle at time of shipment, load pickup trucks, and complete general duties as assigned. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
