Standard hours will be Monday-Friday 7-4pm with on call requirements for snow and calving season. The duties include calving, tagging, immunizations, herd health and care, pregnancy testing, grazing, pasture rotation and utilizing pasture feeding to maximize potential, winter feed stocking and feeding, clearing snow to feed, property, building and equipment maintenance, waterer function, fencing repair on steep terrain, trail maintenance on steep terrain, road maintenance, rodent control, large and small equipment experience, small hand tool experience, manure spreading. Arrange and manage food supply for winter. Manage herd size and coordinate sale barn activities. Employer will abide by all of Colorado's agricultural laws to include Senate Bill 21-087 ("SB87") and any subsequent Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards Orders (COMPS order) . Effective 1/1/25, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers. The employer will provide transportation to town for personal errands at least once per week for non-range workers
