  This is an application for nursery crops. Job duties include: Digging – Workers follow behind digger shaking mud off the trees and loading them into a trailer being pulled by a tractor. Grading/Sorting – Checking the quality and the size of the trees and sorting them. Tying – Tying Bundles of trees to be stored/prepared for shipping. Storing – Storing bundles of trees in coolers or sawdust. Pulling Stakes – When is too wet for digging, workers pull stakes out of the ground. Hand Ties – Another activity that is done out in the fi elds when it’s too wet for digging, hand tying the trees to the stakes. Workers may operate trucks/company vehicles to transport farm equipment, crops, and workers. Employees that want to be drivers must possess a valid driver’s license. The driver’s license is not a pre-hire job requirement. They may drive workers from living quarters to the work sites and vice versa. They may also transport workers to the grocery store and to perform errands. Drive times may fluctuate depending on the nature of the crops, business needs, and weather conditions.
