We run a feedlot and cow calf operation, as well as chop corn for silage, harvest our own crops and perform required maintenance on equipment. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, clean work areas, direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting, haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil, inform farm managers of plants or crops progress, maintain inventory, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating, operate equipment such as wrenches, crow bars, air and electric. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bailers and other hay equipment, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, manure spreading equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, semi trucks, silage choppers, skid steers, sprayers, spreaders, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, corn, hay, silage. Must speak and understand English.
