We grow corn and soybeans in Minnesota. We raise cattle and pigs as well. So this person would be helping harvest the crop in the fall and help take care of livestock the rest of the time. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, maintain grounds and landscaping, maintain inventory, participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating, use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, bailers and other hay equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, forklift, manure spreading equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, semi trucks, skid steers, spreaders, straight frame trucks, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, pigs, corn, hay, silage, soybeans.
